Wow. Just Wow.

I’m not sure where to start in talking about the Indians’ 7-4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night, so let’s just stick to the facts.

Indians’ starter Trevor Bauer pitched 8 shutout innings, giving up 4 walks and striking out 12. According to MLB reporter Jordan Bastian, Bauer left the game as the MLB leader in innings (129.1), FIP (2.14) and fWAR (4.9). He ranks 4th in K (168), 5th in K/9 (11.69) and 6th in ERA (2.30). He had a fabulous night.

Francisco Lindor led off the game with a solo home run (his 24th dinger of the year for those who are counting), followed one batter later by a solo shot from Jose Ramirez (his 25th of the year).
