ST. PETERSBURG -- The Indians' bullpen was one out away from putting the final touch on a hard-fought victory that overcame an uncharacteristic outing by ace Corey Kluber. Instead, the Rays partied on the diamond at Tropicana Field after Ji-Man Choi delivered a walk-off home run.
With two outs in the ninth, All-Star closer Brad Hand surrendered a two-run homer to Choi that sent Cleveland to a 6-5 loss on Monday night. The blast followed a single by Tommy Pham, denying the Indians a chance to inch closer to the American League Central crown.
