CLEVELAND, Ohio-- Moments after the Cavs raised the banner at The Q, recording artist Rachel Platten performed the national anthem at Game 1 of the World Series.
Fans sang along with Platten, as the Indians and Cubs stood along the first-base and third-base lines, respectively.
Following the rousing rendition, former Indians outfielder Kenny Lofton was greeted by an ovation from the sold-out crowd at Progressive Field before tossing out the ceremonial first pitch to Indians catcher Yan Gomes.
The Cleveland Indians play Game 1 of the World Series against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday at Progressive Field.
