Uribe leaves after being struck by batted ball

ANAHEIM -- Indians third baseman Juan Uribe left Sunday's game against the Angels at Angel Stadium in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Indians leading 5-0 when he was struck in the groin area by a Mike Trout one-hopper.

The shot was clocked at 106 mph off the bat, according to Statcast™. Uribe tried to recover to make a play, picked the ball up, and then collapsed face down. It was scored as the first hit allowed by Indians starter Danny Salazar. A bullpen cart was summoned to take Uribe off the field.
