The Battle of Ohio continued tonight as the Cincinnati Reds hosted the Cleveland Indians at The Great American Ballpark. The Reds had taken the first game of the series 5-1, and the Tribe was looking to finish their five-game road trip with a win before hosting the Reds on Wednesday at Progressive Field.
The Indians got on the board early when Francisco Lindor homered to left field in the top of the first inning. It was Lindor’s tenth home run of the season after hitting 15 in 604 at-bats last season. The Reds came right back to tie it in the bottom of the first when Joey Votto and Adam Duvall hit back-to-back doubles to tie the game at one apiece.
