CLEVELAND -- The Indians added another non-roster invitee to the team's Major League Spring Training camp Thursday afternoon.
The Tribe signed free agent right-hander Justin Grimm to a Minor League contract with the invitation to big league camp next month.
Grimm, 30, has played for the Rangers, Cubs, Royals and Mariners across seven seasons, and split 2018 between Kansas City and Seattle. The reliever landed on the disabled list twice in the past season with lower back stiffness followed by right shoulder impingement syndrome.
Grimm had a 13.50 ERA in 12 2/3 innings in 16 appearances with the Royals, but finished the season by posting a 1.
