Tribe gets ball rolling on deals with 8 picks

CLEVELAND -- The Indians got to work on locking up some of their newly acquired young talent, agreeing to terms with eight of their 41 Draft picks on Tuesday.

The first wave of signees is highlighted by ninth-round selection Devon Stewart, a right-handed pitcher from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., though perhaps the most recognizable name was switch-pitcher Ryan Perez, the 12th round selection out of Judson University in Illinois.
