Now that a new champion in baseball has been crowned and the World Series is complete, all eyes around baseball will turn to free agency.
Today 139 players filed for free agency around the Majors on what was the first day of eligibility, three of them players from the Indians.
The three – infielder Mike Aviles and two right-handed pitchers Ryan Webb and Gavin Floyd.
Right now the Indians can negotiate and try to work out deals with the three exclusively until Saturday. After that, they are free to ink with any team that offers them a deal.
