CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Terry Francona didn't fully examine Monday's brawl between the Nationals and Giants, in which Bryce Harper charged pitcher Hunter Strickland, sparking a brief bit of frustration-fueled chaos and a few haymakers.
The Tribe manager did watch some of the highlights on his phone.
"Probably didn't do it justice," he said.
Francona, who spent parts of 10 seasons in the big leagues, said he was never tempted to charge the mound following a plunking.
"Get hit and it's like insult to injury -- then you get your [behind] beat?" Francona said. "I'm not going to do it.
