Indians pitcher Cody Anderson has worn three different uniforms in the month of June. He started the month with the Akron RubberDucks, then got called up to the Columbus Clippers. A little more than a week ago, Anderson made a spot start for the Indians and did well enough to earn another start.
On Monday night in Tampa Bay, he showed that he deserved that start, as he took a perfect game into the seventh inning. With one out in the seventh, former Indian Grady Sizemore spoiled Anderson’s bid for immortality by hitting a home run over the center field wall, cutting the Indians’ lead to 2 to 1.
