In a rain-soaked evening, the Indians reclaimed first place in the AL Central with a 7-1 win over the defending champs. The third straight win over the Royals elevated the Tribe into first and brings them oh so close to a series sweep, which would be huge in terms of the season. Yes, it’s still early, but taking four of the 19 games they’ll play against the Royals all at once would really make a dent.
