One year ago this Friday I was sitting in the maternity ward at Ohio State hospital holding my sleeping one-day-old son while my wife got some well deserved rest. As the only person awake in the room, and deprived of sleep myself, I turned on the Guardians vs. Red Sox game to just have something to focus on so I wouldn’t fall asleep holding my son (a big no-no). The Red Sox made a pitching change, bringing in former Cleveland legend Corey Kluber to face Jose Ramirez. Jose already had 2 home runs in the game. After working the count full, Jose parked one deep into the RF seats for his 3rd homer of the game, the first time he’d accomplished this feat in his career.
