CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Andrew Miller went with the slider first. He spotted it in the strike zone, an 84-mph sidewinder that Mike Trout watched sail into Chris Gimenez's glove.
Miller turned to his fastball next, and he heaved an 96-mph dart past Trout's lumber for strike two. The tall, lanky, unassuming reliever returned to the slider for the third offering, and he slung the sweeping off-speed pitch by the perennial All-Star.
As pitcher and catcher strolled back to the dugout on Saturday night, Gimenez said to Miller: "You're my favorite pitcher now, because you made him look like me.
