Sunday News and Notes: Indians walk tightrope last night, don't fall off

There were so many point in this game in which the outcome could have quickly changed, starting with the bases-loaded situation in the seventh inning. A double play not turned led to that situation, but NIck Hagadone defused it by striking out Kyle Seager on three pitches (ending the at-bat on a beautiful breaking ball). Terry Francona heavily leaned on the bullpen, as starter Shaun Marcum pitched on 5.1 innings. Four relievers were used, and closer Cody Allen had to get four outs.

The back problems that sidelined Michael Brantley early this season haven't gone away, which makes his performance look even better.
