CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland Indians will be accepting donations of books at the gates prior to Wednesday's game at Progressive Field. It's part of the United Way's Stuff the Bus campaign.
Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco is sponsoring his second annual book drive in partnership with Stuff the Bus.
New and gently used books at the kindergarten through eighth-grade reading levels will be accepted at all gates. RTA will have a bus at Gateway Plaza during the drive.
All books will be donated to Cleveland-area schools and libraries.
Carrasco has been passionate about providing children with books.
