Stress-tested Andrew Miller returns to 'high-leverage' innings for Cleveland Indians in win over O's

BALTIMORE - Andrew Miller, bullpen flip flop or no bullpen flip flop, is back to being Andrew Miller.

Wednesday night, with closer Cody Allen in Cleveland where his wife, Mallory gave birth to a baby boy named Carson, Miller relieved Carlos Carrasco in the seventh inning. The Indians led 3-0, but the Orioles had the bases loaded with nobody out.

This was one of those high-leverage innings the Indians were supposedly trying to steer Miller away from. He needed time to reset after two tough outings against the Dodgers on June 6 and June 7.
