One of the Tribe’s biggest question marks heading into the 2018 season was which members of the bullpen would step up in the sixth and seventh innings to replace the strong body of work that Bryan Shaw and Joe Smith established in 2017. While it is clear that Andrew Miller and Cody Allen are set to dominate the eighth and ninth innings once again, the sixth and seventh innings are still a work in progress.
Following a so-so outing by Indians starter Trevor Bauer (5.0 IP, 2 ER, 5 H, 3 BB, 7 K), Dan Otero and Tyler Olson would each allow home runs in the seventh inning to propel Seattle to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory.
