Series Review: Cincinnati Reds

The Indians wrapped up four-game series with the Reds on Thursday night with a dominant 13-0 performance. After dropping the first game, the Tribe swept the final three to improve to 8-6 on the year.

Shutout Streak

With shutouts in the final two games of the series, the Indians now have four on the season. It’s the first time they’ve tossed four shutouts through 14 games since they set a team record with five back in 1966.

Luis Tiant (three) and Sam McDowell (two) were the starters back in ’66. This time around it’s been Shane Bieber (twice), Mike Clevinger and Carlos Carrasco.
