Santana helped ignite an impressive offensive outpouring by the Indians, launching a leadoff home run in the first inning. The blast was Santana's 25th of the season and his fifth to lead off a game this year. Santana joined Grady Sizemore (seven in 2008), Kenny Lofton (five in 1999) and Shin-Soo Choo (five in 2012) as the only players in team history with at least five leadoff homers in a season.
