The Indians got some good news today, as first base coach Sandy Alomar Jr. has decided to stay put with the Tribe. The former Indians catcher had been approached by the White Sox to be their bench coach a little over two weeks ago.
On top of staying with the Indians, Alomar also gets new two-year deal with an option.

Almoar at one point was the Tribe skipper for six games after the team fired Manny Acta in September of 2012.
