CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Rajai Davis turned a corner and spotted me standing near the entrance to the visitor's clubhouse in Houston.
"Are you here to see the show?" he asked that late morning in mid-May at Minute Maid Park.
Little did Davis know he was foreshadowing a 16-inning battle between the Indians and Astros. Little did he know that he'd be a star of a much more significant show some six months later. Little did he know the Indians were destined for extra innings in Game 7 of the World Series against the only team with a longer championship drought.
