CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Indians got another visit from the Rally Squirrel at Progressive Field on Friday night, but this time the tiny critter did not delay the action on the field.
The squirrel entered right field in the bottom of the sixth inning and cautiously darted in and out of fair territory to the delight of fans. Royals right fielder Jorge Bonifacio seemed unamused.
The excitement ended before the top of the seventh inning when the squirrel was ushered through the center field gate by members of the grounds crew.
This was not the first time this season that a squirrel has entered the field of play during an Indians game.
