Rajai Davis revered for his Game 7 home run, but a Cleveland Indians victory could have made it so much more

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It isn't easy to leave a lasting impression upon an entire city in only one year.

Rajai Davis didn't play every day. He didn't post gaudy numbers at the plate.

He did hit for the cycle on an early July afternoon in Toronto, the first Tribe player to accomplish the feat since Travis Hafner in 2003. He did provide a presence in the outfield and plenty of speed on the basepaths, with an American League-leading 43 swipes.

But he really cemented his status as more than just a random, one-year resident with his momentous home run in Game 7 of the World Series.
