It’s a battle of old versus new when the Cleveland Indians take on the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field on Wednesday night. The Tribe will send Shaun Marcum (0-0, 1.80) to the mound, making his first start since July 6, 2013, and just his second appearance overall. He’ll be opposed by the rookie Carlos Rodon (1-0, 4.96).
The Indians (15-23) hope that Marcum can plug the hole in the last spot in the rotation, as he’s been effective at Triple-A Columbus, posting a 4-0 record with a 1.
