Orioles 5, Indians 1: Trevor Bauer gives up two homers; pitch hits Juan Uribe in helmet

BALTIMORE: Mark Trumbo hit a three-run homer, Manny Machado added a solo shot and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Indians 5-1 on Friday night to provide rookie Dylan Bundy with his first major league victory as a starter.

Trumbo launched his 29th home run in the first inning and Machado made it 5-0 in the third. Both drives came off Trevor Bauer (7-4), who hadn’t given up more than one long ball in any of his previous 22 appearances this season.

Bundy (3-2) allowed five hits and an unearned run in five innings. Drafted fourth overall in the 2011 draft, Bundy worked in the bullpen this season before surrendering three homers over3 u2153 innings Sunday at Tampa Bay in his starting debut.
