CLEVELAND, Ohio -- As Danny Salazar attempted to explain his meager, 34-pitch return to the Indians' rotation, Francisco Lindor shouted some jokes from a nearby locker.
The Indians' spirits were high following their 5-4 walk-off victory on Thursday. It was, after all, an uphill climb for nine innings. That tends to happen when the starting pitcher exits after one, laborious frame.
It was painful on the eyes. Fortunately for the Tribe, it wasn't painful for Salazar's right elbow, the culprit for the hurler's recent disabled-list stint.
