On Jose Ramirez's big day and the future of third base for Cleveland Indians

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Over the last 18 years, here are the Indians opening day third basemen: Lonnie Chisenhall, Carlos Santana, Jack Hannahan, Jhonny Peralta, Mark DeRosa, Casey Blake, Andy Marte, Aaron Boone, Travis Fryman and Russell Branyan. Except for Fryman, who started four out of five opening days from 1998 through 2002, none of them could be considered an All-Star.

Chisenhall was a third baseman waiting to play right field. The Indians still haven't figured out where Santana should play. Hannahan had a great glove, bad back and no bat.
