N&N: Will Brennan sent to AAA amid many MLB trades

To make room for Lane Thomas, the Guardians optioned Will Brennan to AAA.

Chronologically, that’s the first thing that happened yesterday, but a lot happened afterwards. Like, the Guardians won a game! And made another trade. Time for lots of information... not in any particular order:

• Cleveland acquired Alex Cobb for Jacob Bresnahan and a PTBNL

The “Guardians plan for Cobb to make 1 more rehab start upon joining the organization and then join the rotation thereafter.”

• Cleveland won an MLB game, 5-0 over the selling Tigers.
