The Dodgers knocked Gavin Williams out in the first and the Guardians offense couldn't put much together as Cleveland lost 7-2 Saturday night in L.A.
Williams seemed like he might have found his groove in Kansas City but he was yanking pitches across the zone and then leaving pitches middle-middle after falling behind. No word if the pitch-tipping was an issue as well. There will be four more starts for him to get right for October.
On the bright side, the Guardians bullpen was good and especially Erik Sabrowski who threw 2 and a third scoreless, striking out three.
