The Yankees avoided the sweep and ended the Cleveland Guardians five game win streak, but series win still belongs to Cleveland. Nothing really went the Guards way during the game, including multiple long fly balls that should have been HRs, not outs. Its hard to complain when the Yankees usually roll into town and dog walk the Guardians. I will gladly take this outcome over what has historically been the result when these clubs meet.
