In today’s afternoon edition of the News and Notes (sorry, I’m a little under the weather which pushed me off my normal routine), I am pleased to report that the Oakland A’s offered Josh Naylor another chance to hit a pitch in the strike zone:

And that’s how a tenuous 3-2 lead turns into a 6-2 lead, folks. The Guardians were able to give Jose Ramirez a day off and still win a game, led by two hits including a home run from Will Brennan, a double and a hit-by-pitch by Brayan Rocchio, and a Bo Naylor double.
