The Guardians signed former Angels right-handed pitcher, Jamie Barria, to a minor-league deal yesterday.
Right-hander Jaime Barria in agreement with Guardians on a minor-league contract, sources tell @TheAthletic. Spent first six seasons with Angels, and was granted free agency last month.

He’s been mostly a starter, but was moved to the bullpen in 2022. He’s 27 years old, has a career 4.38 ERA and a 5.08 FIP with 6.38/2.94 K/BB/9. His 93 mph fastball generally gets tatooed but he has a very good slider, and an average changeup.
