Wednesday night the clubhouse was once again filled with music as the Cleveland Guardians celebrate their 5th straight win. Alex Cobb made his second appearance as a Guardian, securing his first win of the season in 5.2 innings pitched. Cobb allowed only one run on three hits and walked two batters. He struck out three and threw 80 pitches before Stephen Vogt turned to Nick Sandlin.
Sandlin has been less than stellar in his last few outings, but was on tonight. Sandlin pitched 1.1 innings of hitless baseball, throwing 22 pitches. Tim Herrin took over in the top of the 8th and followed suit.
