Trevor Bauer hasn’t pitched in an MLB game since August 11. Tonight, he takes the mound against Chris Sale and the Red Sox in what could be an ALCS preview, should each team advance past their respective ALDS opponents.
Tuesday was supposed to be Carlos Carrasco’s next start, but he’ll instead come out of the bullpen in relief to give Bauer an extra start before the playoffs.
