Momentum changer: Embarrassed Cleveland Indians beat Kansas City, 8-0, one day after lopsided loss

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Terry Francona said it would have been too easy to call a team meeting after Saturday's ugly loss. Managerial fruit too low for the picking, so to speak.

"You never want to shirk your responsibility," said Francona before Sunday's game. "I think yesterday would have been too easy. I think today is a day where I want us to show up with some energy and we should after a game like that.

"I believe in those guys out there a lot. There's no guarantee that we win, but there's a way to play and a way to go about it.
