Conner Gillispie made the start for Columbus. Going 4.2 innings without giving up a run or a hit. He walked two batters and struck out six. Nic Enright made his much anticipated return, pitching the 7th inning for Columbus. Enright walked two batters and struck out one. He threw 13 strikes in 23 pitches.
Columbus offense was relatively silent. In the top of the 5th, Raynel Delgado walked but was picked off at first. With two outs, Dom Nuñez singled to right field and advanced to 3rd when Christian Cairo singled to right field as well.
