PEORIA, Ariz. -- Six things we learned Wednesday before, during and after the Indians' 14-6 evening victory over Seattle at the Peoria Sports Complex.
1. Swing the bat.
In a simulated game Michael Brantley, Jason Kipnis and Austin Jackson faced Zach McAllister and Carlos Frias. It was Brantley's second simulated game in three days and he made hard contact against both pitchers as he continues to come back from a right shoulder injury that limited him to 11 games last season.
In fact, Brantley lined a shot off McAllister's shoulder in his last at-bat.
