Box Score · Clippers improve to 45-40
In his much ballyhooed return to the Clippers, Melky Cabrera went 3-4 and scored two runs, raising his batting average with Columbus to .326.
The real hero of the game, however, was Nellie Rodriguez, who went 2-4 with two doubles and three runs batted in. The last double broke a 4-4 tie and gave Columbus a 6-4 lead, which they were able to hang on to for the win.
Eric Haase also went 2-4 with a double and Brandon Barnes went 1-3 with a double and a walk.
