Three home runs helped pave the way for the Columbus offense to defeat Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Greg Allen teed off for his first bomb of 2019 while Trayce Thompson and Mark Mathias also went deep. Mathias had a great day at the plate, going 3-5 with two runs scored.
Eric Haase went 2-4 with a double and a walk and both Mike Papi and Ryan Flaherty went 2-5 with a double while Thompson went 2-4 with said homer and four runs batted in. Eric Stamets also reached base safely twice, going 1-3 with a double, a walk and a stolen base.
