Mark Mathias stays hot in Clippers loss, Ka’ai Tom hits 10th home run in lone Tribe affiliate win for Akron

Starting pitcher Asher Wojciechowski was blasted for eight runs on seven hits while striking out four and walking two in 4.0 innings. Toledo scored five runs in the first inning and scored one each in the second, third and fourth frames.

Rob Kaminsky struggled in his second appearance at Triple-A, giving up two runs on three hits and walking a batter in just 0.2 innings.

Hilariously, position player veteran Brandon Barnes finished the game with 2.0 scoreless innings of no-hit relief.

Leadoff hitter Mark Mathias continues to perform well, going 2-4 with a double and a hit by pitch.
