Lynchburg rallies with five in the ninth, Brady Aiken earns first win for Lake County

Columbus Clippers 0, Indianapolis Indians 9 Game 2

This was not a good day for the Columbus Clippers offense.

Two games, 14 combined innings, seven hits, one run.

Giovanny Urshela had the best day out of all Columbus hitters, going a combined 3-6 with a home run. Ronny Rodriguez also reached base safely three times with a double, single and walk.

Ryan Merritt gutted through six innings in game 1 despite falling behind 5-0 by the third frame, but he still took the loss.

In game two, things were going relatively smoothly until recently promoted right-hander Matt Whitehouse made his Triple-A debut in the fifth inning.
