CLEVELAND -- For much of this season, it has been the Indians' pitchers who have bailed out the offense. On Thursday afternoon, the Tribe's offense returned the favor in the form of a seven-run fourth inning against the Blue Jays at Progressive Field.
After Tribe starter Carlos Carrasco surrendered five runs in the first four frames of Game 1 of the doubleheader, the Indians' offense went to work against Toronto lefty Jaime Garcia. The result was a seven-hit flurry that was highlighted by a towering three-run homer off the bat of Francisco Lindor.
