HOUSTON -- Corey Kluber struck out 10 batters and moved up on a prestigious list of the all-time best Indians pitchers in a 5-4 win over the Astros on Saturday at Minute Maid Park, bringing Cleveland back to the .500 mark.
Kluber fanned two in the first and struck out Brian McCann to lead off the second, tying CC Sabathia for fifth all time on the Indians' strikeout list. Yuli Gurriel followed with another strikeout, which moved Kluber into sole possession of fifth place.
Kluber has 1,272 career strikeouts and is within a stone's throw of the next two Tribe legends on the list: Bob Lemon and Early Wynn are tied for third with 1,277.
