CLEVELAND: Twenty years later, what Kenny Lofton remembers about the 1995 Indians is that they always had a chance. They were never out of it, no matter the score or inning, and that all in attendance knew it.
Several members of the 1995 team that made it the World Series returned to Cleveland last weekend, as the organization honored their achievements on their 20th anniversary.
That team went 100-44 in a strike-shortened season and won the American League Central by 30 games. It also had one of the best offenses in baseball history and won 27 games in the final at-bat.
