Jose Tena and Jhonkensy Noel lead Clippers to win, Kahlil Watson hits a bomb

Columbus Clippers 7, Worcester Red Sox 6

Jose Tena extended his hitting streak to 9 games, going 2-4 with two RBIs. He’s up to a .302 batting average and an .852 OPS on the season. Jhonkensy Noel also stays hot, going 2-5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Kyle Manzardo was a couple feet short of hitting his first AAA home run since being sent back down, he had to settle for a double off the wall.

Xzavion Curry pitched two scoreless innings before he was pulled at just 32 pitches. This makes me wonder if maybe they plan on calling him up for a bullpen role.
