Jim Thome humbled by Hall of Fame induction, hopes AIbert Belle will attend

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Humbling, but cool is how Jim Thome described being inducted into the Indians Hall of Fame.

The Indians announced Friday morning that Thome, Albert Belle, Frank Robinson and the late Charlie Jamieson would be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame on July 30 at Progressive Field. The Tribe's Hall of Fame, opened in 1951 and revived by owners Larry and Paul Dolan in 2006, has seldom had a class as power-packed as this one.

Thome and Belle were part of one of the best lineups in franchise history.
