Don’t believe the hype — spring training is actually terrible. After the first couple exhibition games it’s just another stage of the offseason with the added anxiety of your favorite player potentially tearing a ligament against a Double-A pitcher. There’s always at least one spring training game worth getting excited about, though: The first one.
