It is unclear whether Jason Bere was let go or resigned, though my guess is that after he watched the Indians hire Carl Willis so quickly he considered his chances of future advancement within the organization very slim indeed. Jason Bere will receive a great deal of credit for the Indians’ bullpen success and will likely not be out of a job very long.
