CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The goal of every big league manager in spring training is to find the 25 players they'll be opening the regular season with. Manager Terry Francona agreed, but said there's more to it.
"In spring training we try to answer every question that needs to be answered," said Francona. "We keep track of playing time. When we break camp we not only want to know who we're taking, but we want to know where they can play, and where are they're best suited to play.
"We want to have our 25 guys and know how they complement each other.
