CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians rank third in the American League in runs per game.
That sentence alone should dismiss some of the trendy narratives often attached to the AL Central-leading club.
Cleveland's offense is far from flawless, but somehow, a group missing Michael Brantley and receiving next to nothing from Yan Gomes has remained productive.
"You've got a bunch of guys feeling good," said first baseman Mike Napoli, who ranks tied for fifth in the AL with 14 home runs. "We're playing well as a team. We're getting timely hitting.
